Storytime with Penny Harrison - Monday 28 November 2022 
Come and join us for fun, stories and craft with a spirited picture-book character who challenges gender stereotypes through her everyday adventures.

As part of 16 Days of Activism against gender violence, local author Penny Harrison will read a selection of her picture books about gender equality at this special storytime session. This session is most suited to 4 year olds.

About the Tutor
Penny Harrison is a children's author, book reviewer and lifestyle journalist. Her latest book is called The Little Coven, which is about spells and friendship and nature. A professional writer for more than 20 years, she has contributed to a variety of leading magazines, newspapers, guides and books, writing about everything from raising toddlers to raising chickens.
Penny grew up on a farm in central-western NSW and spent her days exploring the bush with her four brothers and sisters. Nowadays, she lives in a rambling old garden on the edge of the Yarra Valley with her husband, two children and an ever-growing collection of books, plants and pets.
