This fun and friendly class will teach teens the basics in pottery with opportunities to try both hand building and wheel throwing.  Starting with pinch pots and coils students will then look to create a slab mug, bowl or plate and learn some basic surface decorating techniques. Students will also learn how to glaze their work.

This course is open to high school students aged between 13-18 years old. The maximum group size is 8. Price includes clay, firing and all required equipment.

Participants have the opportunity to exhibit in our end of year diversARTy exhibition at Eltham Library Gallery to celebrate their achievements with friends and family.
