Life drawing co-op

Description

Join this relaxed, friendly group of artists for regular sessions working with a life model.  Artists of all levels of experience, including complete beginners, are welcome to work in the media of their choice. Sessions are untutored but plenty of encouragement, lively discussion, and advice are available.

The usual structure involves short, warm-up poses and then the selection of a longer pose to be maintained for the remainder of the session (with breaks as appropriate). This allows artists the opportunity to work for a sustained period on a single piece or make several attempts incorporating various approaches, media, and points of view.

Life models for all sessions are included in the cost.

Participants have the opportunity to exhibit in our end of year diversARTy exhibition at Eltham Library Gallery to celebrate their achievements with friends and family.

This course is open to people aged 18 years and over.
Places may be available in this course after the start date. Please contact us to enquire: 9433 3744
