Drawing the figure
In this workshop you will be studying the construction of the body and how the appearance changes depending on the angle (perspective), lighting, body type and age.
Firstly you will look at the basic proportion of the head in comparison to the body, concentrating on the basic skeletal shape, then adding muscle and fat to see how this affects what we see and how to draw it. The last 2 hours you will be working with a life model so we can see on a real body the muscle groups and structure we have studied earlier in the day.
You will be working in pencil and charcoal.
Participants have the opportunity to exhibit in our end of year diversARTy exhibition at Eltham Library Gallery to celebrate their achievements with friends and family.
VenueThis course workshop is held at our Eltham centre - 739 Main Road
